#9819 closed defect (fixed)

dropbear init script is missing bind-to-addr feature

Reported by: pharaoh <pharaoh@…> Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Backfire 10.03.1
Component: packages Version: Backfire 10.03.1 RC5
Keywords: dropbear Cc:

it's possible to specify a interface for dropbear, however the init script has no code to actually bind dropbear to the ip address assigned to the specified interface.

the attached patch is my humble approach to implement this feature.

bind-to-addr feature appears to be implemented in trunk already.

	# B) listen interface and port
	local interface
	local address
	config_get interface "${section}" Interface
	config_get address "${interface}" ipaddr
	config_get val "${section}" Port
	[ -n "${val}" ] && append args "-p ${val}"

Maybe it wasn't backported to RC5
