#9724 new defect

r27618: dir-600 b1 misdetected CPU?

Reported by: rechapita@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: kernel Version: Trunk
Keywords: Cc:

Description

openwrt is pretty much working on dir-600 b1.
however there seems to be a mismatch in the detected cpu.
acording to specifications dir-600 b1 uses the same SOC as its b2 counterpart, the RT3050. Openwrt detects the SOC as RT3305.

this leads to network to be misconfigured (Workarround here)
and also, unless i miss my guess, intensive CPU usage when using QOS
