[target/bcm63xx] More suitable configuration for switch vlan

Reported by: mzguanglin@… Owned by: developers
Priority: highest Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: base system Version: Trunk
Keywords: bcm63xx vlan adsl Cc:

Description

This is one of the tickets which must be posted in integrating napt66( http://code.google.com/p/napt66/) into OpenWrt. I've been working for some days and nearly reached the goal.

After years of waiting, I suppose many of us have realized that the adsl driver of bcm63xx is just a myth! We have been always dividing the switch chip into 2 vlans manually before compiling for a long time! Do you think it is a waste of time?

The new configuration I provided separates LAN4 to be the WAN port. Consequently, a fixed hardware address for LAN division must be defined. Moreover, I assigns a local IPv6 address(just like 192.168.1.1 in IPv4) for LAN interface which is necessary for napt66.

This network configuration should be done on a per-device basis, not globally. Please submit the patch to the appropriate board-specific network configuration file.
