after some year running OpenWRT on an old x86-pc I upgraded to a Mips-embedded device (Routerstation Pro).
To update the IP-address in my DNS-server I'm using the "ipupdate"-tool.
Today I setup the new device and I wasn't able to update tne DNS-record.
After some capturing and debugging I came to point, that's an endianness-issue in the ipupdate-code.

I attached a patch, which gives a binary doing the job on x86 and Mips.
