Description (last modified by florian)

Hello.
How to i can poweroff/poweron USB port on the device (like Linksys160NL) ?

In Linux it can do with the command

echo suspend >/sys/bus/usb/devices/1-2/power/level
and to turn it back on:
echo auto >/sys/bus/usb/devices/1-2/power/level

but in openwrt this path is wrong. Is it possible?

Thanks

Is it possible to fix this in the new version of this driver? Or is it possible to make patch for current driver?
Thanks.

I have installed (2012-07-28) openwrt from trunk on TL-MR3220.

It seems that there is a problem with a pl2303 driver in current trunk/snapshot.
I tried three models of pl2303 USB-serial adapters, and non worked like it supposed to. One did not go through presenting /dev/ttyUSB0, another two simply would not work.

As I reinstalled openwrt from november 2011 snapshot things worked ok with pl2303 usb-serial. But, wget and ntp client are broken in that version - r23820 if I remember correctly).
The mentioned errors were detected as I was using open2300 to access data from weather station, the same open2300 binary works on older snapshot.
