The default user who run the tinyproxy is nobody and it not have the permission for write in the /var/log directory and the /var/log/tinyproxy.log file can't create.

logread
Oct 19 14:45:48 JSL daemon.crit tinyproxy[1368]: ERROR: Could not create log file /var/log/tinyproxy.log: Bad file descriptor.
Oct 19 14:45:48 JSL daemon.crit tinyproxy[1368]: Falling back to syslog logging

Temporary for debug, you can use the syslog alternative and don't forget, the /var directory is in the RAM

uci set tinyproxy.@tinyproxy[0].Syslog=1
