Description

As summary suggest when I setup two AP on the same radio it fails.

The radio is rt61pci final resulting missconfigured interface:

wlan0 IEEE 802.11bg Mode:Master Frequency:2.422 GHz Tx-Power=18 dBm
          RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off

mon.wlan0 IEEE 802.11bg Mode:Monitor Tx-Power=18 dBm
          RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off

wlan1 IEEE 802.11bg Mode:Master Tx-Power=18 dBm
          RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off

while /etc/config/wireless is:

config 'wifi-device' 'radio0'
	option 'type' 'mac80211'
	option 'macaddr' '00:0c:f6xxxxxxx'
	option 'hwmode' '11g'
	option 'disabled' '0'
	option 'channel' '3'
	option 'txpower' '18'
	option 'country' 'IT'

config 'wifi-iface'
	option 'device' 'radio0'
	option 'mode' 'ap'
	option 'ssid' 'OWrt'
	option 'encryption' 'psk2'
	option 'key' 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxx'
	option 'network' 'lan'

config 'wifi-iface'
	option 'device' 'radio0'
	option 'encryption' 'none'
	option 'ssid' 'ninux.org'
	option 'network' 'ninux'
	option 'mode' 'ap'

this should be fixed before 10.03.1 imho.

Not all mac80211 drivers support multible BSSes. What driver is that? B43? If yes this outcome is expected and not fixable.

Ah, rt61pci - overlooked it. Are you sure it supports this, e.g. can you set it up properly with iw on the commandline?

Replying to jow:

Which command I should test?
