#8470 closed defect (no_response)

Regression: rev. 24630 breaks collectd (again)

Reported by: ddxx0n Owned by: developers
Priority: response-needed Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: regression collectd Cc:

The (accidental?) removal of 002-fix-ltdl-linking.patch in /changeset/24630.html results in the good ol' known error /ticket/8363.html that was already fixed in /changeset/24517.html ... with the patch restored everything works fine.

Where does it break it? Trunk or Backfire branch or somewhere else?
(in your ticket the milestone is 'Kamikaze' while version is 'trunk'....)

With all target platforms? or just one specific?

r24630 fixed building in Backfire branch, so the removal of '002-fix-ltdl-linking.patch' is not accidental.

I confirm this bug with lltdl. Router WZR-HP-G300NH.

Confirmed. Adding 002-fix-ltdl-linking.patch back fixes building in trunk.

I object, r24630 is good, trunk build fine without adding 002-fix-ltdl-linking.patch
in x86 target, I had this same error before, after re-downloading complete source again, it builds fine without 002-fix-ltdl-linking.patch.

  • Priority changed from high to response-needed

Built fine for me using r27687 with target ar71xx. Can you retest with current trunk?
