#8451 accepted defect

uhttpd does not support large files

Reported by: wrt@… Owned by: jow
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: uhttpd Cc:

Description

uhttpd does not support delivery of files greater than 4GB.

Version tested:

http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/kirkwood/packages/uhttpd_19_kirkwood.ipk

I have confirmed that adding the following to CFLAGS fixes the problem: -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 . Apologies for lack of a patch - I am unsure where these should get inserted.

same happens to e2fsprogs. it seems like a eglibc issue, i haven't tried uclibc nor glibc though. can anyone confirm it reproduce in uclibc or glibc?

using incorrectly built e2fsprogs on >=4G (actually 2G) harddisk ruin everything
