Cannot set txpower higher than 12dBm with ATH_USER_REGD enabled

Reported by: AyeAye Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Backfire 10.03.1
Component: base system Version: Trunk
Keywords: ath9k txpower WZR-HP-G300NH ATH_USER_REGD Cc:

Description

I tried to build my own OpenWRT for a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH (Atheros AR9132 rev 2).

With the ATH_USER_REGD option, I cannot set txpower higher than 12 dBm. (country:AT). Without this option it works.

I tried many of the latest versions, none of them worked.
My guess is, that there is something wrong with one of the two patches:
521-ath9k_hw_tx_power.patch
522-ath9k_tx_power_init.patch
As far as I can tell, it worked up to version 23732.
(But I'm not a developer)
