Port forwarding does not work on my TP-LINK TL-WR841N. Rebooting the router does not resolve the problem. For example, if I forward port 22 to a host on my LAN and try to SSH to it, SSH just hangs with no response. I have a Buffalo WHR-G54S (brcm-2.4) running Backfire 10.03, also, and it works perfectly. This appears to be a problem with ar71xx. Ticket #7410 (a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH which also uses ar71xx) may be related to this problem.

Port forwarding does not work on my TP-LINK TL-WR841N too.

When I check ports I forwarded with online checking tools on websites, it says ports are closed. Other ports are silent (the ports I didn't forward).

This in not my OS fault. Tested on my notebook and android smartphone. Same on both.

port 9000-9002 does not work!!!!! just updated firmware and all this shit happened 3.13.11 Build 121116 Rel.73797n

TP needs to fix this mess!!!

I confirm the same thing. Port forwarding doesn't work, I tried with an FTP server (port 21) and surveillance cameras which I wanted to access from internet.

ditto, port forwarding doesn't work, logs show dropped incoming packets on forwarded ports.

Could everyone here report the hardware revision that have this problem?
