#782 closed defect (fixed)

wrtsl54gs failure after erase nvram

Reported by: aorlinsk Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: 0.9/rc6
Component: packages Version:
Keywords: Cc:

Description

If you clean your nvram partition, then you can only access your router in failsafe mode, and you have to set some variables to get your router responding on the network in normal mode.

This patch will setup the defaults for this router model.

It might be nice to create a small program / flash image, that upon boot-up does nothing more than restore the nvram to the default settings like mentioned above.
This will help to restore routers that are "brick" due to invalid nvram contents but can still download a flash image from cse.
