Description
QoS does not appear to work for my backfire setup. I have attached my network and qos config along with custom firewall nating rules. The way I tested QoS was to upload files simultaneously to two FTP servers, one with high priority and one with low priority. The files appear upload at the same speed. On a side note, any variable other than null set for downlink speed causes the entire network connection to go down.

Hmmm, an interesting way of testing QoS you discovered there...
Try some VoIP-Software like Skype and FTP with and without QoS. Also try plain-text files and using the forum...

After some tinkering with the config (tc ist pretencious and has only truncated output) QoS and Traffic Shaping work just fine.
Or do you mean a certain package? Wich one? There are at least the three:
dsl-qos-queue_0.9
qos-scripts_1.2
wshaper_0
Wich one doesn't work? On wich platform/device?
Also: is there a problem with *.txt-Files? Dont't use *.rtf, *.doc, etc to post here.
I think this ticket can be closed.
