l7-protocols does not find g++-uc when built

Reported by: pierre.gaufillet@… Owned by: jow
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: Cc:

Description

Building luci with "./scripts/feeds update; ./scripts/feeds install -a -p luci; make menuconfig; make" fails with the following error:

make[4]: Entering directory `/openwrt/trunk/build_dir/target-mips_r2_uClibc-0.9.30.1/l7-protocols-2009-05-28/testing'

/openwrt/trunk/staging_dir/target-mips_r2_uClibc-0.9.30.1/host/bin/g++-uc -Wall -o test_speed-userspace test_speed-userspace.cpp l7-parse-patterns.cpp

make[4]: /openwrt/trunk/staging_dir/target-mips_r2_uClibc-0.9.30.1/host/bin/g++-uc: Command not found

make[4]: * [test_speed-userspace] Error 127

It can be work-around by installing and building an other g++ dependent package like znc before l7-protocols.

Correction: build uclibc++ rather than znc to work around that issue.

./scripts/feeds install uclibcxx
make package/uclibc++/compile

uclibc++ is part of latest trunk. it does not need to be installed via feeds anymore.
