Let me clarify the problem I am experiencing with LuCI (and/or uhttpd). Accessing LuCI via a web browser at http://192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/luci results in a blank page (no page source). However, calling LuCI manually from the shell (i.e. /www/cgi-bin/luci) returns the expected LuCI page source (html) to stdout.

Therefore, LuCI appears to be working when called from the shell, but not from the web server.

If you think r20573 may resolve this issue, I will test with it this evening.

Thanks.

The removed refcounting in r20617 should resolve the issue.

This tested good for me with the latest release. Thanks jow.
