#6774 closed defect (no_response)

mesh mode broken (again)

Reported by: whiskas Owned by: nbd
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: kernel Version: Kamikaze trunk
Keywords: mesh, open11s Cc:

After creating identical mesh interfaces on two nodes, they don't add each other as peers. Also no PREQ/PREP is sent out. Using wireshark i only see ARP-Requests.

Can be seen with iw <IF name> station dump. A correct peering link should show ESTAB instead of LISTEN or OPN_SNT.

Ok, there is a path in the mailinglist, which seems to fix the error:

Hopefully it will be included in the next compat-wireless.
