#6730 closed defect (fixed)

CPMAC on AR7 does not allow VLAN tags on full frames

Reported by: jh Owned by: florian
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: kernel Version: Kamikaze trunk
Keywords: AR7 CPMAC VLAN Cc:

Description

When switch a is set to produce/accept VLAN tags, and a full ethernet frame is either sent of received, cpmac.c does not transfer it correctly since its packet buffer only allows (1514 + 4) bytes. This is only enough for the frame and checksum. Despite the comment in the source code a further 4 bytes are required for 802.1q tag.
