Description
Some Alice Gate and BT Voyager routers (at least), which are based on the brcm63xx SoC use an imagetag who's CRC is calculated on every boot. That means if the rootfs changes that on the next boot a CRC error is generated. Since the rootfs includes the marker for end fo the current jffs2 filesystem, which gets moved when the jffs2 is created, on the second boot these routers complain of a CRC error.
