If miniupnpd is compile with this patch 102-iptcrdr_memleaks.patch, a segfault is produced while adding a new remote rule to the firewall, thus abruptly ending miniupnpd.

I can confirm this. When I tried the 8.09 branch with brcm-2.4, miniupnpd didn't work and crashed. It is fine on trunk.

I have also reproduced. Compiled r18348 of the 8.09 branch with brcm-2.4. miniupnpd crashed when adding a remote rule. Here is the debug log: -
