On a livebox board I get this when I access Luci an try to go to Network/wifi

This does not seem like a bug but like a genuine low memory condition where the kernel kills your processes to try and recover. You can't expect much with < 1MB free after boot. Either get more RAM (probably hard if you don't have mad soldering / hacking skills) or setup a swap partition / file somewhere.

Or the third option: Don't run as much crap :)

This issue seem like memory leak in the process so that it is running out of memory. Need to check code with proper allocation and deaalocation of memory.
