Description

with rc5, I have continuous connection drops, I did not have with rc4.

ppp_idletime is and was set to 600.

If I have permanent traffic (like a ping a second), the connection does not drop.

Hi sebastian,

did your rc5 based router always disconnect? Or what do you mean with connection drop?
Some more information would be good. Which provider do you use? I have some rc5 based routers with netcologne and arcor, and I can not see any problems.

It's probably a ppp mtu issue; seems to be a common occurance on the forums
