B43 can be selected again by deleting the part marked with * from package/mac80211/Makefile. I have no idea if this is correct or not.

define KernelPackage/b43-common

$(call KernelPackage/mac80211/Default)
TITLE:=Generic stuff for Broadcom wireless devices
URL:=http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43

DEPENDS+= +kmod-mac80211 *+TARGET_brcm47xx:kmod-ssb* @TARGET_brcm47xx
@TARGET_brcm63xx @LINUX_2_6_25@LINUX_2_6_26@LINUX_2_6_27@LINUX_2_6_28

  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

That is a local change, there are no * in the repository, please fix that locally.

Replying to florian:

Sorry, I was not clear. I put the * there to mark the part, which causes the problem for me. If the part between the stars is removed, than I can select kmod-b43 again, and the resulting image (including wifi) works.
(I have no idea what that dependency should do)
