Installing IPv6

Description

Hello,

I just installed the following packages for ipv6 running kamikaze 8.09 RC2 (bcrm-2.4):

kmod-ipv6 radvd ip kmod-ip6tables ip6tables

and when i do a "insmod ipv6", i get the following error:
insmod: unresolved symbol tcp_destroy_sock.

What could be done to fix this issue? I tried installing bcrm47xx, and the same error happens, although with a different output.

I also get the same error when I do "insmod ipv6". I am running Kamikaze 8.09 r14548.

According to http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0008.3/0248.html , this error occurs if the kernel is compiled in a particular way instead of another way.

I am a noob at doing this kind of thing. Could someone kindly compile the kernel differently and post it for download?

Hello,

the solution is to recompile the kernel, with the IPv6 module as embedded/integrated. After doing this, and deploying my custom version to my WRT54G v2, i could now initialize IPV6 with no problems, and turn on my tunnel to Hurricane Electric. I can send you my custom made image if you want.

thanks

Hello,

I just installed Kamikaze 8.09 bcrm-2.4 final, and just by doing "opkg install kmod-ipv6", it will install and load the module with no problems.

Looks that the OpenWRT team fixed that compiling/linking issue. Thank you very much! You saved me time from compiling everything again!

Long life to OpenWRT!!!!! :D
