Description

On the WGT634U can't aquire a default IP address from dnsmasq on build [10721]. Setting a static IP doesn't work either, serial console works.

This might be related to an issue I'm seeing.

I did a build today from r10745 for my WGT634U. When it tries to obtain an IP via DHCP from my cable modem, it gets no response to the discover packets. However, if I power cycle the modem, it will get a 192.168.100.x address, but then it gets no response to the renew request when the lease expires 30 seconds later.

This same device worked fine with this cable modem with a build with the same config from r10650. Other devices (my laptop and my old WRT54GS running WR RC5) can get an IP from the cable modem just fine. I tried all the "standard" diagnostic stuff such as switching cables, power cycling the modem to clear the MAC cache, and trying to run udhcpc by hand. None of this made any difference.

I also noticed that the LEDs for the wan port and lan port 1 turn orange when CFE loads the kernel, indicating some sort of problem with these two interfaces.

I think this can be closed works as of r11752 ???

I now see that "roboswitch" now for eth0?
