#30 closed defect (fixed)

ethernet dies when using qos

Reported by: nbd Owned by: developers
Priority: high Milestone: 1.0-rc4
Component: kernel Version: 1.0
Keywords: et qos Cc:

Several people have reported, that the ethernet port dies when QoS is applied to either br0, vlan1 or any other device associated with broadcom et. For some people this happens about an hour after starting QoS (tested with my HFSC scripts). PPP and PPTP stuff is not affected and works fine with the same scripts.
This could be a major showstopper for whiterussian...

Turns out this is a weird HFSC problem that can be worked around in the QoS scripts
