nas fails with can't resolve symbol bcopy

Description

An attempt to use WPA ends with

user.info : /usr/sbin/nas: can't resolve symbol 'bcopy'

I see the wireless network but I am not able to connect. Running nas without arguments does not produce the error, restarting the networking using /etc/init.d/network restart does.

I was not able to hack the broadcom-wl package - I changed all bcopy and bzero there to memset/memcpy, but I still get the dependency somehow (strings nas libbcmcrypto.so still show them). I suspect some the uclibc configuration issue, but I was not able to find where one does configure the uclibc used by the package.

This is on Asus WL-500GP with r10090. Downloading the 7.09 package does not work either: /usr/sbin/nas: can't resolve symbol '__uClibc_start_main' right at the start.

I changend toolchain/uClibc/config/mipsel

-# UCLIBC_SUSV3_LEGACY is not set
+UCLIBC_SUSV3_LEGACY=y

nas run ok, but wlc segfaults

Command 'set rxant' failed: -1
Segmentation fault

This is on Asus WL-500W with r10135.

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

revert your uclibc config change and try r10207. should work
