Mediatomb package for Wl700ge

I've managed to compile and build mediatomb UPNP media server.
I own a PS3 console and I found that ushare has some difficulties with serving files for the console. So I have decided to work on porting mediatomb.
The problem I have for now is there is no "large file" directory chosen for openwrt packages.
Note it requires a place where it could create a sqlite database and it must not be the flash rom ... it shall be a flash drive, ramdisk (if you dare ..) or the hard disk. I dont think that any build flag which reflects the large storage presence exits ...
If you have any idea where to put mediatomb home directory dont hesitate to change startup script and config file (/etc/mediatomb/config.xml)

that sounds very interesting, we were trying to port MediaTomb to the WL500g, the problem was that the uclibc++ version used did not support exceptions, so exceptions were not caught and MediaTomb exited. We worked together with Oleo on this but i guess we did not have enough time to finish our efforts.

What is the current status, does OpenWRT uclibc++ support exceptions? There are people asking us about the port to the WL*00g routers, however I do not have the hardware so testing is problematic. Please let me know if I can be of any help.

Kind regards,
Jin / MediaTomb

P.S. you can catch me on FreeNode, #mediatomb
