#2639 closed defect (fixed)

Poor wireless preformance following 7.09 update

Description

After updating to 7.09 on my ASUS wl-700ge the wireless performance is abysmal, having my laptop right next to the router I previously got 99-100%, now I get about 61%, I've tried playing with the WL settings to no avail. I'd be happy to provide more info, I just don't know what's needed.

Similar issues with 7.09 and a WRT54G v4

Details on http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=72728 but, to summarize, the performance of 7.09 is about 1/3 that of the stock 4.21 Linksys software.

With more current build, now showing comparable performance to "stock" Linksys 4.21

Build now is c. [12419] from x-wrt snapshots. Apparently before [12422] as can't log in to webif2.
