PPPd does not set IPv6 default route after successful IP6CP negotiation

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: developers
Priority: low Milestone: Kamikaze 8.09 RC1
Component: packages Version:

Description

I have native IPv6 over PPP available from my ISP; the default Kamikaze configuration does not set up a default route. As per the manpages, I've written ipv6-up and ipv6-down scripts that work for me, using the ip command; these scripts are attached.

Could mainline Kamikaze use the ipv6-up and ipv6-down scripting hooks to set and remove the IPv6 default route if it's setting and deleting the IPv4 default route?

Forgot to set my e-mail address when I submitted this ticket; I'm happy to implement this if someone describes what's acceptable and what's not acceptable (e.g. is my current script OK; if not, what should it detect, and what commands should it use?)
