#22551 new defect

Sometimes usb disk does not detected when reboot the router

Reported by: toth2zoltan@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: packages Version: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Keywords: usb disk reboot mount Cc:

Description

I use OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05 / LuCI (git-15.248.30277-3836b45) on TPLink w1043nd v2.
I have an external hard disk. The vsftpd is installed on the usb disk.
I use hd-idle.
After a few days of using the usb disk is unmounted. The ftp access does not work.

  • I can remount the disk from luci system/mount point menu with the save and applay button. After it i have to start vsftpd in order to use ftp access.
  • I can repar it with reboot from Luci, but the reboot from commad line does not work.

I think somewhen the router made a reboot, and the usb disk did not ecognized on the reboot.

I use the router as a media server, this behavior is not comfortable.
