Description

Hello,

I am using Neoway N703 3G modem with SOM9331 Chaos calmer openwrt via USB. I added a custom gcom file to check GPRS is activated or not on the SIM.
It is responding if the SIM is activated and GPRS is activated.
But the same script is resetting the USB core, if I insert SIM which does not have GPRS/3G.

Here is the gcom file:

opengt
 set com 115200n81
 set senddelay 0.02
 waitquiet 1 0.2
 flash 0.1

 send "AT+PING=8.8.8.8^m"

 waitfor 2 "OK","ERROR"
 if % = -1 goto dataerror
 if % = 0 goto initcomplete
 if % = 1 goto dataerror

:dataerror
 print "Data error\n"
 exit 1

:initcomplete
 print "Pinging!!!\n"
 print "Done\n"
 exit 0

Here is the dmesg after executing the gcom file:

root@OpenWrt:/# gcom -d /dev/ttyUSB1 -s /etc/gcom/3gcustom.gcom

I posted in forum Herehttps://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=64636.
Can we use PING command or any GPRS related commands in gcom scripts?

Regards,
Sowmya
