rc.common not wrapping properly or finding the init.d file

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: developers

Using "/etc/rc.common /etc/init.d/timedate enable" to create a bootup script. Script is linked successfully (script itself is below) but for some reason the logread says it cannot find the file on bootup. The file is indeed in the proper folder but for some reason it is not activating.

See the following post:

SCRIPT -------

#!/bin/sh /etc/rc.common

start() {

rdate -s <NTP Server Address>

busybox's ash doesn't differ between a non existent file, a unknown interpreter in the #! line and if a file isn't executable (x bit set).
