#2176 closed defect (fixed)

Each usbdrive mounted to the same dircetory with usb-storage

Reported by: syncro@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Kamikaze 8.09.2
Component: base system Version: Kamikaze 8.09
Keywords: usbdrive Cc:

see package/base-files/files/sbin/usb-storage

for node in `find sd* -type d | grep -v "/"`; do
       echo "mounting /dev/${node} on /mnt/usbdrive"
       mkdir -p /mnt/usbdrive
       mount /dev/${node} /mnt/usbdrive
       exit 0

possible (simple) solution would be to add the ${node} to the mount directory name

for node in `find sd* -type d | grep -v "/"`; do
       echo "mounting /dev/${node} on /mnt/usbdrive${node}"
       mkdir -p /mnt/usbdrive${node}
       mount /dev/${node} /mnt/usbdrive${node}
       exit 0

well this would work with multiple usb sticks but not with multiple partitions on the stick... which could be usefull (read only partitions for example)

Anyway I think /sbin/usb-storage should be integrated with /etc/init.d/fstab in some way!
