What luci revision? Any uhttpd errors in logread? Did you clear your browser cache? Is ubusd running? Any errirs in the browser script console?

I dont know which luci version, the one which was up when r48235 was live. Yes, browser cleared, Edge and Chrome used. No log output. It's just on the overview tab, all other seems to work fine.

Then I suppose the DSL status output is broken again. Can you attach the output of "http://192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/luci/admin/status/overview?status=1" please? I suspect that the DSL status produces invalid JSON output.

Alternatively provide the output of /etc/init.d/dsl_control lucistat

I think it has to do with if the DSL/modem is down/not connected (cold boot, no wan connection) leading to the fetching breaks, does that make sense? Because I tested luci just with the router not connected to wan/modem. I wanted to add a screenshot but this ticket system always detects me as "spam" even if I enter the capture code. The following information were blank/showed collecting data:

Local Time, uptime, Load Average, Memory, Network, DHCP Leases, Wireless. Other seemed to work in other tabs like wifi/interfaces.

Try putting the info into pastebin.com and link it here.
