#2130 closed defect (fixed)

qos-scripts choke connection

Reported by: socketbox@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version:
Keywords: qos Cc:

Context: Kamikaze 7.06 firmware on a WRT65GL.

I install qos-scripts via ipkg, edit the /etc/config/qos file to include counterstrike-source and execute '/etc/init.d/qos start'. I get an error like: "RED Warning Burst too large" and my incoming traffic diminishes to a trickle.

Thinking this problem might be solved in 7.07, I overwrite the existing tcrules.awk and script with those from 7.07. No error about "Burst too large" but my incoming traffic is cut to 1/3 of what it is w/o running '/etc/init.d/qos start'

Note: due to the somewhat ambiguous nature of ticket #1745, I decided it would be best to file a unique issue for this problem.

This has been fixed in later versions. I suggest trying 7.09 or svn trunk
