I'm seeing the same. 15.05-rc3 works. However 15.05 release disables the serial console and don't bring the network up.

I see this very same issue only when I build the image on my local debian or Kubuntu systems. When the images are built on a debian build server (hosted in a data center) they are just fine. So it seems to be an build system issue :(

Same issue here.
The 15.05 image gives a totally unresponsive router regardless on how the update is done.
I have tried install from AirOS, directly flash the image through tftp and sys-upgrade from 14.07.

Strangely, I upgraded from 14.07 to 15.05 some weeks ago with no problem. But today, no way to reproduce that :(

I have also problem with 15.05.
Tried install from stock and also from 14.07.
I never had problem with 14.07, the router run for weeks without any issue...
I attached serial connection and it hang on the same message: console [ttyS0] disabled

I want to test trunk, but I have problems with Luci and free space :/

Same issue here. I have a spare AirRouter (Berlin) in case anyone wants to try to work on this problem.

Latest trunk (Designated Driver, r49263) appears to work great on my AirRouter HP.

Sysupgrade from 14.07 to 15.05.1 just worked fine for me!

I also confirm that flashing 15.05 from AirOS a few months ago could not boot.
Did not try 15.05.1 from AirOS...
