#20701 new defect

jailed programs fails because symlinked .so's don't mount actual binary

Reported by: openwrt@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: base system Version: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Keywords: Cc:

In CC jails are failing because the library detection doesn't follow symlinks to the actual target, and without mounting the actual binary the jails fail with ENOENT.

If you include the symlink targets as well, then the jails work.

Etienne's code actually not the problem it is revision 47083:

the fstools update to fix jffs2reset following symlinks causes procd to stop following symlinks when creating jails.
