Description

CC branch, r47028. 941NDv3.

After PPPoE crash (without PADT) router too often (every 0.5 seconds) try to authenticate. During attempts router is unavailable, then after 10-15 seconds its just reboot.

is this a new issue, or does it happen with earlier versions (e.g. the 15.05 final release) as well?

I don't know. Earlier ISP ban router's MAC after 3 unsuccessful attempts for 1-2 minute. But i can test CC release and BB r46516.

So.
CC release: try to authenticate every 0.5-1 seconds without reboot;
BB r46516: every 6-7 seconds without reboot too.

In BB when i press pppoe-wan STOP in LuCI while attempting i get message from this ticket /ticket/20329.html
