thats because lm-sensors source was moved to the github repository

https://github.com/openwrt/packages/tree/master/utils/lm-sensors

The package is at github but not the sources of lm-sensors.
Which files will be available at http://mirror2.openwrt.org/sources/ and which not?

comment:3 Changed 2 years ago by anonymous

github Makefile shows exactly where the package is

https://github.com/openwrt/packages/blob/master/utils/lm-sensors/Makefile

currently it points to

PKG_NAME:=lm-sensors
PKG_VERSION:=3.3.5
PKG_RELEASE:=2

PKG_SOURCE:=lm_sensors-$(PKG_VERSION).tar.bz2
PKG_SOURCE_URL:=http://dl.lm-sensors.org/lm-sensors/releases
PKG_MD5SUM:=da506dedceb41822e64865f6ba34828a

hmm... seems dl.lm-sensors.org is dead.. not even www.lm-sensors works... their DNS servers seem non-functional at the moment.

ran into the same issue, (www.)lm-sensors.org is still down as of oct 11, 2015

solution: found a list of mirros at http://www.filewatcher.com/m/lm_sensors-3.3.5.tar.bz2.173609-0.html

this was downloaded and moved into my downloads folder (can be set in menuconfig, advanced dev settings -> set download folder). resumed download with make V=s and it cleared where it was hitting the error.

This might have something to do with TI buying LM ;)
