Buildroot installation warnings

Reported by: mirko_47 Owned by: developers
Priority: lowest Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: other Version: Trunk
Keywords: Buildroot, Feeds Cc:

Description

Hi all,

today I've noticed that trying to install the buildroot I get a lot of warnings and (I'm not sure, but I think that maybe it can be) an error.

since the output of the commands required to install the buildroot is not very short I've preferred to save it into text files which I think they can result much more easier to read instead of copying here the entire text.
I've uploaded it all here:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BxHW2MMDoAYfflNPOHc4NGtRSDktREt3cUNRbThKWVpiWVFtN2NjWEFHOE5tVXBXbmEyTlU&usp=sharing
(executed in this order: git clone, feeds update, feeds install, make package/symlinks)

As you can see from the output I was able to get the source, and update the feeds successfully running:

git clone git://git.openwrt.org/openwrt.git
./scripts/feeds update -a

but then I get a lot of warnings trying to install the feeds running:

./scripts/feeds install -a

see feeds_install file.

And I'm not sure that all these warning are a good sign...
Also trying to run:

make package/symlinks

as you can see from the uploaded file I get:

/bin/sh: 1: 8: Bad file descriptor

Which I'm not sure that this can be an error.

On the other hand I'm quite sure that at least I'm not missing any dependencies; following what is written into the wiki page, I've installed:

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
$ sudo apt-get install sudo apt-get install build-essential subversion libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev gawk git git-core ccache gcc-multilib flex gettext libssl-dev xsltproc quilt libxml-parser-perl python3.4-dev qemu-utils

In any case even if I get all this warnings the whole then it seems to work.

Thank you very much in advance.

How can this "bad file descriptor" be reproduced? Please explain it step for step. Thanks
