unable to load mtd partitions in atheros AR9341 TL-wr841n-v8 board

I hve flashed kernel image on my board but it is unable to load mtd partitions, due to which rootfs mounting fails. I am using Barrier Breaker v14.07

it seems there is problem in m25p80 driver. But I couldnt resolve it.
Please, give me some suggestions.

the flash is on the Soc. i could'nt change it. Is there any other way round..

See this commit, it adds support for this flash chip to the kernel.

Not sure whether this patch is included in recent trunk versions already.
Compile an image on your own including this patch.
