i'm trying to understand how to build my own image, i was seeing on the kernel modules the kmod-e1000e but the description is "PCI" it is an on board on the p5nd2-sli ASUS, please help me!

the electrical connection of the ethernet chips is still PCI even if the chips are soldered to the board and not mounted on a separate add-in card.
