USB LED works for me in WNDR3700v2 with CC trunk r44251, when I connect a memory stick.

LED started to work when I include kmod-leds-wndr3700-usb in the build.
May be it should be included by default?

That module is included by default for WNDR3800.

https://dev.openwrt.org/browser/trunk/target/linux/ar71xx/generic/profiles/netgear.mk#L19

NAME:=NETGEAR WNDR3700/WNDR3800/WNDRMAC
PACKAGES:=kmod-usb-core kmod-usb-ohci kmod-usb2 kmod-ledtrig-usbdev kmod-leds-wndr3700-usb

Indeed...

But after I do

# ./scripts/feeds update -a
# ./scripts/feeds install luci luci-app-samba luci-app-upnp
# ./scripts/feeds install miniupnpd nano openssh-client rsync shadow wget
# make menuconfig

and select WNDR3800 as target profile, checkbox for 'kmod-leds-wndr3700-usb' becoming unchecked.
Am I doing something wrong?
