olsrd 0.4.10 S60olsrd Permission denied at boot because olsrd/files/olsrd.init has no executable permission

Keywords: olsr S60olsrd Permission denied Cc:

Description

Thanks for getting the new olsrd 0.4.10 package out so quickly.
Unforunately olsrd fails to start with "Permission denied" in boot log.

  • olsr 0.4.10 package file ../files/olsrd.init needs to have the executable permission set.
  • Makefile line 68 copies olsrd.init to ../S60olsrd without setting executable permission.

Work around by setting /etc/init.d/S60olsrd executable permission after olsrd v0.4.10 is installed.
