your log snippet not really help to find error, if there is one.
Looking on the line above everything looks as expected it looks ok.

No?? # is the ip and name I masked. That whole line is the real output, which cant be meant on purpose, that doesnt make sense. Before it was parsed correctly for "Registered IP", now it's not parsed anymore. Also under DynDNS config everything is broken, the button doesnt show correctly, that it's running and always shows "Start". Also time is parsed wrong too showing a "date+Stopped".

Could you please look what version of ddns-scripts is installed ?
If it is 2.1.0-1, I'm very sorry for this problem.
I upload the new scripts together with a updated luci-app-ddns version.
The scripts were merged into trunk. luci-app-ddns still pending.
Try to use the attach dynamic_dns_lucihelper.sh, copy into /usr/lib/ddns.
This should help for the moment.

Yes was 2.1.0-1, applied your patch, seems to work so far.
