Description

Installed openwrt-wndr3700_v3-squashfs.chk (Barrier Breaker Final release): OpenWrt Barrier Breaker 14.07 / LuCI Trunk (0.12+svn-r10530) on to Netgear WNDR3700v3.

The image came from openwrt.org web-site:

http://downloads.openwrt.org/barrier_breaker/14.07/brcm47xx/mips74k/openwrt-wndr3700_v3-squashfs.chk

After flashing from Netgear Stock Firmware:

  1. Router restarted fine, able to log in to the web-gui.
  2. OS failed to detect correct ver of the hardware:

"Model Unknown Board"

  1. Wifi radios seem to have a wrong driver used. There is two radios one for 2.4 band and second for 5GHz. The 5 GHz radio only operates now on 2.4 GHz band and NOT on 5GHz band.
  1. LED for WiFi interfaces do NOT turn on at all.

Questions:

  1. How do I revert back to the stock Netgear Firmware.

Please advise because Wifi in the current state is not usable.
