#17803 new defect

opkg --autoremove argument

Reported by: cobalt60 Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: Barrier Breaker 14.07

It seems as though using the --autoremove option of opkg expects an argument, as though you need to use this option on a per-package basis. I believe it should, as is the case with apt-get, not require an argument instead, and simply remove all packages that were only installed as dependencies of other packages that have since been removed.

Stumbled upon the same issue. Unclear how to remove Python's automatically installed deps after a simple opkg remove python.
