I am using BB-RC2 on a WNDR3700 and am not experiencing any problems with the WAN port operating at Gigabit speeds. Are you sure it's not a hardware problem with the router or the modem your router is attached to?

Same problem here with WNDR3800 connected to a Buffalo wzr-hp-g300nh (WAN <-> switch). WNDR3800 has r42092 and Buffalo r42149. And WAN of WNDR3800 just has 10mbit. Just noticed it now after reading this ticket. Whats going on?? How can I fix this?

My mistake, seems to work now /:

Another issue related is that even at 1000 full duplex, my wndr3800 download goes very slow when uploading at max 80 mbit, or even throttled upload to 50 mbit... it's a hw issue from older tickets I saw:

He's right, theres something wrong with WAN port on WNDR3700/WNDR3800. 13072 is the correct ticket, but devs seem to ignore it :( Hope this will get looked into soon.

Same problem with Barrier Breaker 14.07-rc3

I've tested trunk r42429 and I still cannot get more than 100mbit on the WAN interface (eth1) on my wndr3700 v1, forcing it at gigabit just makes the link go down.
