r41815: ath9k deadlock on TP-Link TL-WDR3600 and TL-WR1043ND

Description

I've updated from r41669 to barrier_breaker_rc2_r41815 on a TP-Link TL-WDR3600 and TL-WR1043ND. Both are not far from each other and they have fairly similar configs, 1 enterprise wireless and 1 to 2 non-enterprise wirelesses. After a few hours, the hostapd process that handles 2.4Ghz was on 100% (r41669 was also doing this, although I don't think attitude_adjustment_r36088 was). On the TL-WDR3600, the 5Ghz radio isn't deadlocking. I've just removed the rsn_preauth 0 for the non-enterprise wireless entries to see if that was the problem. I can post the full config if needed. The current firmware was built with ImageBuilder with the following packages: PACKAGES="-wpad-mini wpad dhcp-forwarder kmod-ipv6 ip6tables radvd openvpn-openssl quagga quagga-zebra quagga-ospfd quagga-ospf6d luci traceroute6 tcpdump bc conntrack-tools iftop ip iptraf iputils-arping iptables-mod-ipmark iptables-mod-ipopt wide-dhcpv6-client libnfnetlink kmod-nf-conntrack-netlink kmod-nfnetlink", but only the following is running at boot: S00sysfixtime, S10boot, S10system, S11sysctl, S12log, S20network, S50dropbear, S50telnet, S50uhttpd, S95done, S96led, S98sysntpd

Looks like removing rsn_preauth 0 didn't help

comment:2 Changed 3 years ago by staples1347

Removing "option rsn_preauth 1" from the enterprise wireless config appears to have stopped the 100% cpu usage issue with hostapd
