No WPA in Routed Client mode (WR0.9)

Reported by: openwrt@… Owned by: developers

Description

No combination of WPA works in routed client mode when wl0_mode="sta".
The problem does not exist if wl0_mode="wet".

Setup is exactly as in http://wiki.openwrt.org/ClientModeHowto

I think the problem is if wificonf and successfully changed it.
It appears the wpa supplicant never got data in "sta" mode.
Details here: http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=10050

I encountered a backdoor confusion. If nas is installed (in particular /etc/init.d/S41wpa executed) then "sta" mode seems to work haphazardly. The nas execution may be feeding the driver the information, masking the problem.

Client is WRT54GSv3 Whiterussian 0.9.
Test AP is WRT54Gv4 Whiterussian 0.9 set all wpa modes.

Should be fixed in Kamikaze 7.07. Whiterussian is no longer supported
